In this 5 episode historical and anachronistic docufiction TV series, we are guided on a journey through the past, exploring these pivotal moments of rupture in Portugal’s history. The revolutions of 1383–85 and 1640 consolidated and restored national independence, the Liberal Revolution of 1820 ended absolutism, the Republican Revolution of 1910 ended the monarchy, and April 25, 1974, ended the dictatorship. What remains of these revolutions in the 21st century?
